The HTV245FRF WiFi water timer cannot be used independently and must be paired with a HWG023 or HWG040 WiFi gateway. Please make sure you already have a HWG023 or HWG040 WiFi gateway in your home before purchasing.
One WiFi gateway (HWG023 or HWG040) can pair with maximum 4 WiFi water timers. Multiple sub-devices (e.g. soil sensor) and Bluetooth water timers (HTV210B, HTV107B) can be connected to form a smart watering system.
